All sewing machine repairs are carried out exclusively by Calvin Toews. At Toews Sewing, we offer repair services for industrial sewing machines, sergers, and overlockers of all makes and models. Calvin, a journeyman sewing machine technician with 38 years of full-time employment, grew up in the family company.

Calvin Toews, a member of the Toews family, recalls sitting on his grandfather's workbench as a young child and watching him fix sewing machines. He still has all of his grandfather's original technical service manuals for all the various sewing machine brands we have sold throughout our 68 years in business. The manuals date all the way back to when we first existed. We began selling Elna, Pfaff, and Bernina sewing machines door to door in 1948. Sales were great, and we established Toews Sewing in 1950.
